Now, More Than Ever, We Need Your Contribution
Gov. Pawlenty has unallotted the funding for the annual state rebate effective June 30. That means the State won't be refunding contributions to candidates for state office or political parties for at least the next two years.
But, that doesn't change the need we have for your financial support.Your contribution now will help elect Democrats next year. Being able to get information on events and candidates out to people takes money. So, does fully funding our local candidates. We can't do any of this without your support. Elected a Delegate at Your Caucus? Come to the Senate District Convention.
Our Senate District convention will be Saturday, March 6, starting at 10:00 am. If you were elected a deleage at your precinct caucus, you'll be involved in endorsing candidates for our representatives, as well as electing delegates to go on to the 3rd Congressional District and State Convention to endorse our candidates for Congress and the Governorship.
There's lots going on ... how can you get involved?
We're already planning for the February 2, 2010, Precinct Caucuses. There will be lots of opportunities for short-term volunteer efforts leading up to Caucuses, caucus night and in the following week. If you're able to give a few hours, Visit our Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.
